Volunteer project
How, where and how long could interested volunteers work in our project?
- Teaching English and help with homework.
- playing games, drawing and practice daily things such as tying the shoe leases
A 4-6 weeks volunteer time would be the most suitable. You would get to know a Nepalese household. In addition there is the possibility to organise a trekking tour with Som Bahadur.
Therese Baenziger is always happy to give more information about this project.
- We are also interested to take English-speaking volunteers from around the world for Singla’s school. For teaching English or spending quality time with the children from the pre-school groups.
- Persons with experience in health issues could help in the health post in Singla (Himalyayatra would be responsible for this).
- Volunteers can also help in Som’s apple tree garden.
- Teaching and working with the women from the planned sewing project.
